Part Two
The Lord God said: I will make him a helper; this statement can save so many people from entering into abusive relationships and those that are already in should do something about it. God said I will make him a helper and all of us should understand this
A helper is not a door mat or a punching bag. A helper is not a slave or a vessel of abusive words. A helper is not a sex toy or a baby maker either.
A helper is: An assistant; a co-worker; a colleague; a partner; an aid, this is what a helper is and to make you understand further I will explain each term again.
An assistant - is someone who supports you when you can not cope by yourself; A co worker - is someone who carries the other half of your workload; A partner - is the significant other, who participates in your achievements and failures. An aid - is a system that benefits and sustains you when your system fails.
And all this is the investment that God stored for man in the creation that he created to help man and if we can all understand this I am so sure we can do away with all the family violence that we encounter everyday.
And remember this works both ways, both the man and the helper need to understand their position for a relationship or marriage to work.
